नयाँ नेपालको परिकल्पना कहिले सार्थक होला?

बर्तमान नेपालको राजनितिक परिप्रेक्षलाई विश्लेषण गरेर हेर्दा अति संक्रमित अवस्था बाट गुज्रिरहेको छ भन्ने तथ्य स्पष्ट हुन्छ। कुनै पनि समाज वा देशको परिबर्तनको शुरुको अवस्था संक्रमणयुक्त भए पनि त्यस्तो अवस्थामा लिएको निर्णय र चालेको कदमले त्यो समाजको भविष्य असल वा खराब के हुने हो भन्ने कुरा निर्धारण गर्दछ। यहि तथ्यलाई आधार मानेर अहिले उठिरहेका बिभिन्न मुद्दाहरु माथी अध्ययन गर्दा के महशुस हुन आउँछ भने यी मुद्दाहरुको सकरात्मक र सहि तरिकाले छिनोफानो गरिएन भने भविष्यमा यसले देश र जनताहरुमा नकरात्मक असर पर्न जाने देखिन्छ। साथै यसले एउटा अवसरको सृजना पनि गरेको छ जसको सकरात्मक र सहि उपयोग गर्न सके एक आधुनिक नेपालको ईतिहास निर्माण गर्न सक्नेछ।

नेपालको मात्र होईन, विश्वकै ईतिहास हेर्ने हो भने कुनै पनि बिशेष परिबर्तन वा प्राप्तिको पछाडी एक साहसि, निडर तथा बलिदान गर्न सक्ने कुनै एक व्यक्तिको हात हुन्छ। आईपरे आफ्नै जिवन दाऊमा लगाउन तयार ती योद्धाहरुको कारण नै ती असिम परिबर्तनहरु सम्भव भएका छन् जसका कारण आज उनिहरुको देश र समाजले उन्नति गर्ने वातावरण र प्रेरणा पाउने अवसर पाए। उदाहरणका लागी नेपालकै जंगबहादुर राणालाई लिन सकिन्छ। उसमा भएको दुस्साहस र निडरताका कारण नै एउटा साधारण मान्छे श्री ३ सम्म भएर तत्कालिन राजपरिवार माथी नै हैकम जमाउन सफल भए। उनले स्थापना गरेको त्यो अवसरलाई उनका सन्तानले १०४ बर्ष सम्म उपभोग गरे। तर उनी र उनका उत्तराधिकारीहरुको अदुरदर्शीता, जनता प्रतिको संकुचित भावना, पारिवारिक लालच, स्वार्थ आदिका कारण नै उनीहरु पतन हुन पुगे।

राजदरबार हत्याकाण्ड पछि पूर्व राजा ज्ञानेन्द्रले पनि एउटा सुनौलो अवसर प्राप्त गरेका थिए। तर बिभिन्न घटनाक्रमहरुको भुमरीमा फसेर बिचलित भएका ज्ञानेन्द्रले पनि त्यो सुनौलो अवसर को सहि उपयोग गर्न सकेनन्। जनताहरुलाई साथमा लिएर अघि बढ्नु पर्ने अवस्थामा त्यहि अदुरदर्शीता, संकुचित भावना र स्वार्थले पूर्ण सल्लाहकार मण्डलीको कुराको पछि दौडेर उनले पनि त्यो सुनौलो अवसर गुमाए। तर पूर्वराजा ज्ञानेन्द्रलाई धन्यवाद दिनै पर्छ, आफु पछि हटेरै भएपनि उसले देशलाई ठुलो संकट बाट बचाए। उनको त्यहि एक बलिदानले अनेकौं अवगुणहरुलाई ओझेलमा पारेको छ।

तत्कालिन बेलायति साम्राज्य सँग सुमधुर सम्बन्ध स्थापना गर्न सफल जंगबहादुर र उनका उत्तराधिकारीहरुले बेलायतिहरुको ढाँचामा आफ्नो सोंचलाई अलिकति मात्रै भए पनि फराकिलो बनाएर जनताहरुलाई साथ लिएर अघि बढेको भए आज सम्म पनि राणाहरुको शासन चलिरहेको हुन्थ्यो भन्ने कुरामा दुई मत नहोला। त्यसै गरी, पूर्वराजा ज्ञानेन्द्रले पनि जनताको बिचमा गएर नागरिक सम्मान लिएर मात्रै जनताको विश्वास जित्न सकिन्छ भन्ने गलत सोंच र उनका सल्लाहकार मण्डलीको आत्मघाती उक्साहटको पछि नलागेको भए आज उनि राजाकै स्थानमा हुनेथिए भन्दा अत्त्युक्ती नहोला। नागरिक सम्मान को प्रसंगमा, त्यो त मेहनेत बिनाको फल थियो। उनले त्यस्तो केहि गरेकै थिएनन् जसको कारण उनले जनताहरुबाट सम्मान प्राप्त गरुन्। एउटा अंग्रेजी कथाको सन्काहा राजालाई अदृश्य लुगा लगाएको भान पारेर नाङ्गै शहर घुमाए जस्तो त्यो त उनका चम्चाहरुले रचेको एउटा फगत नाटक थियो ताकि उनिहरुको स्वार्थ पुरा होस्।

वास्तवमा देश छ त जनताहरु छन्। जनताहरु छन् त देश छ। एकातर्फ देश बिनाको जनता हुनु कति पिडादायी हुन्छ भन्ने कुरा प्यालेस्टीनिहरु र नेपालकै हाम्रा दाजु-भाई, दिदी-बहिनीहरु भुटानी शरणार्थीभएर बाँच्नु पर्दाको पिडा सुने पुग्छ भने अर्को तर्फ जनता बिनाको देशको कुनै अर्थ नै रहेन। त्यसैले एउटा देश को अस्तित्त्वको लागी जनता हुनु आवश्यक छ र जनताहरुको अस्तित्त्वको लागी देश हुनु जरुरी छ।

माओवादी जनयुद्ध बाट केहि असलकुराहरु प्राप्त भएका छन्। ती मध्ये शासन प्रणालीको सम्प्रुभता र सर्वाधिकार जनतामा मात्र निहित छ भन्ने कुरा प्रमाणित गर्नु। तर माओवादी कै अगुवाहरुको अदुरदर्शीता को कारण, छिटो राजनितिक उद्धेश्य प्राप्त गर्न हेतु समाज भित्र गुम्सीएर रहेको प्रादेशिक, जातिय विभेदको पाटोलाई प्रयोग गर्नाले आज देश र जनता एक ढिक्को हुन नसक्ने अवस्थामा पुगेको छ। यसको भरपुर फाईदा नेपाल बिरोधी तत्त्वहरुले उठाउने जमर्को गरिरहेका छन्। तर नेपालीहरुको एक बिशिष्ट गुण "अनेकता मा एकता" को कारण नै अहिले सम्म देश बाँचिरहेको छ।

विभिन्न प्रादेशिक र जातिय मुद्दाहरु मध्ये अति कठिन भनेको मधेसी मुद्दा नै हो भन्नेकुरा सबैलाई जाहेर भएकै हो। अन्य जातिय र प्रादेशिक मुद्दाहरुको हल राज्यले गर्न सक्छ तर, मधेसी मुद्दाको हल न माओवादी एक्लैले गर्न सक्छ नत एमाले र काँग्रेसले नै। यस मुद्दाको हल मधेशमा बस्ने जनताहरुले मात्र गर्न सक्छन्। मधेश मुद्दा भुसको आगो झै भित्र-भित्रै मधेश भित्र सल्कि सकेको छ। त्यसैले यो आगो कुनै पनि शक्ति प्रयोग गरेर निभ्न सक्दैन। त्यसको एउटै विकल्प हो 'राष्ट्रियता' सम्बन्धि 'शिक्षा' तथा 'प्रशिक्षण'।

यसै संग सम्बन्धित एउटा प्रसंग कोट्याउन चाहन्छु। केहि महिना अघि, काम बिशेषले सप्तरि जिल्लाको एउटा गाउँ पुगेको थिएँ। मलाई देख्ना साथ एउटा भाईले उसैको भाषामा के भन्यो कुन्नी तर 'पहाडिया' भन्ने शब्द मात्रै बुझेँ। त्यो 'पहाडिया' शब्दले मलाई खोई किन हो अतिनै बिझायो। त्यसैले सोधिहालेँ, "भाई तिमि चाहिँ को?"। उसले जवाफ फर्कायो, 'मधेशी'। मैले फेरी प्रति प्रश्न गरें, 'पहाडिया' र 'मधेशी' भनेको के हो थाहा छ तिमिलाई? उसलाई नेपालि बोल्न आउदैन रहेछ तर अलि-अलि चाहिँ बुझ्दो रहेछ भन्ने कुरा उसँगै उभिएको अर्को भाईले भनेपछि थाहा पाएँ। नेपाली बुझ्ने भाईलाई भनें, "भाई तिम्रो साथीलाई सम्झाई देऊ, पहिले हामी नेपाली हौं, त्यसपछि मात्रै पहाडमा बस्ने 'पहाडे' र मधेशमा बस्ने 'मधेशी'। प्रादेशिक हिसाबले म पनि मधेशमा जन्मेर हुर्केको मान्छे। म पनि जन्म सिद्ध 'मधेशी' नै हुँ। 'पहाडे' र 'मधेशी' शब्दहरुलाई जातिय र रँगको हिसाब मा हेर्नु हुँदैन। मैले भनेको कुरा तिमीले यो भाईलाई सम्झायौ भने उसले पनि अरु कसैलाई सम्झाउनेछ। यसो गर्यौं भने तिमी-हामी मिलेर भविष्यमा घट्न सक्ने ठुलो दुर्घटनालाई रोक्न सक्छौं। बुझ्यौ?" ती भाईहरुले मेरो कुरा कति बुझे त्यो थाहा भएन तर मधेशमा जातिय भेद कति गहिराई सम्म पुगेको छ भन्ने कुरा चाहिँ प्रष्ट भयो।

यसर्थ हालको अति महत्त्वपुर्ण आवश्यकता भनेको मधेश लगायत विभिन्न प्रादेशिक मुद्दाहरुलाई राष्ट्रियकरण गरी प्रादेशिक र जातिय विभेदको अन्त्य गर्दै वैज्ञानिक पद्धति बाट राज्य संरचनाको निर्माण गर्नु हो। भुलवश भनौं या प्रयोगात्मक रुपमै भएपनि समाज र देश खण्डिकरणको जुन बिजारोपण भएको छ, त्यसको अन्त्य गरेर आधुनिक नेपालको संरचना गर्ने मुख्य अभिभारा मधेशले प्राप्त गरेको छ र यस्तो गौरवशालि कार्यको सम्पादन तथा कार्यान्वयन पनि मधेशले नै गर्नेछ भनि नेपाली जनताहरुले अपेक्षा गरेकाछन्। सम्माननिय राष्ट्रपति डा. रामवरण यादव झैं दलिय, जातिय र प्रादेशिक स्वार्थहरुलाई त्यागेर राजनितिक दलहरु, सामाजिक संघ-संस्था तथा सरकारी निकायहरुको अगुवाईमा गाउँ-गाउँ पुगेर राजनैतिक, शैक्षिक तथा नैतिक प्रशिक्षण द्वारा राष्ट्रिय भावना जागृत गरी/गराई देश र जनतालाई एक ढिक्का बनाएर राख्न सक्ने केहि योद्धाहरु अघि सरे अवश्य नै नयाँ आधुनिक नेपालको परिकल्पना सार्थक हुने थियो।

My fellow citizens:

I stand here today humbled by the task before us, grateful for the trust you have bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne by our ancestors. I thank President Bush for his service to our nation, as well as the generosity and cooperation he has shown throughout this transition.

Forty-four Americans have now taken the presidential oath. The words have been spoken during rising tides of prosperity and the still waters of peace. Yet, every so often the oath is taken amidst gathering clouds and raging storms. At these moments, America has carried on not simply because of the skill or vision of those in high office, but because We the People have remained faithful to the ideals of our forbearers, and true to our founding documents.

So it has been. So it must be with this generation of Americans.

That we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood. Our nation is at war, against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of greed and irresponsibility on the part of some, but also our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age. Homes have been lost; jobs shed; businesses shuttered. Our health care is too costly; our schools fail too many; and each day brings further evidence that the ways we use energy strengthen our adversaries and threaten our planet.

These are the indicators of crisis, subject to data and statistics. Less measurable but no less profound is a sapping of confidence across our land - a nagging fear that America's decline is inevitable, and that the next generation must lower its sights.

Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this, America - they will be met.

On this day, we gather because we have chosen hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord.

On this day, we come to proclaim an end to the petty grievances and false promises, the recriminations and worn out dogmas, that for far too long have strangled our politics.

We remain a young nation, but in the words of Scripture, the time has come to set aside childish things. The time has come to reaffirm our enduring spirit; to choose our better history; to carry forward that precious gift, that noble idea, passed on from generation to generation: the God-given promise that all are equal, all are free, and all deserve a chance to pursue their full measure of happiness.

In reaffirming the greatness of our nation, we understand that greatness is never a given. It must be earned. Our journey has never been one of short-cuts or settling for less. It has not been the path for the faint-hearted - for those who prefer leisure over work, or seek only the pleasures of riches and fame. Rather, it has been the risk-takers, the doers, the makers of things - some celebrated but more often men and women obscure in their labor, who have carried us up the long, rugged path towards prosperity and freedom.

For us, they packed up their few worldly possessions and traveled across oceans in search of a new life.

For us, they toiled in sweatshops and settled the West; endured the lash of the whip and plowed the hard earth.

For us, they fought and died, in places like Concord and Gettysburg; Normandy and Khe Sanh.

Time and again these men and women struggled and sacrificed and worked till their hands were raw so that we might live a better life. They saw America as bigger than the sum of our individual ambitions; greater than all the differences of birth or wealth or faction.

This is the journey we continue today. We remain the most prosperous, powerful nation on Earth. Our workers are no less productive than when this crisis began. Our minds are no less inventive, our goods and services no less needed than they were last week or last month or last year. Our capacity remains undiminished. But our time of standing pat, of protecting narrow interests and putting off unpleasant decisions - that time has surely passed. Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and begin again the work of remaking America.

For everywhere we look, there is work to be done. The state of the economy calls for action, bold and swift, and we will act - not only to create new jobs, but to lay a new foundation for growth. We will build the roads and bridges, the electric grids and digital lines that feed our commerce and bind us together. We will restore science to its rightful place, and wield technology's wonders to raise health care's quality and lower its cost. We will harness the sun and the winds and the soil to fuel our cars and run our factories. And we will transform our schools and colleges and universities to meet the demands of a new age. All this we can do. And all this we will do.

Now, there are some who question the scale of our ambitions - who suggest that our system cannot tolerate too many big plans. Their memories are short. For they have forgotten what this country has already done; what free men and women can achieve when imagination is joined to common purpose, and necessity to courage.

What the cynics fail to understand is that the ground has shifted beneath them - that the stale political arguments that have consumed us for so long no longer apply. The question we ask today is not whether our government is too big or too small, but whether it works - whether it helps families find jobs at a decent wage, care they can afford, a retirement that is dignified. Where the answer is yes, we intend to move forward. Where the answer is no, programs will end. And those of us who manage the public's dollars will be held to account - to spend wisely, reform bad habits, and do our business in the light of day - because only then can we restore the vital trust between a people and their government.

Nor is the question before us whether the market is a force for good or ill. Its power to generate wealth and expand freedom is unmatched, but this crisis has reminded us that without a watchful eye, the market can spin out of control - and that a nation cannot prosper long when it favors only the prosperous. The success of our economy has always depended not just on the size of our Gross Domestic Product, but on the reach of our prosperity; on our ability to extend opportunity to every willing heart - not out of charity, but because it is the surest route to our common good.

As for our common defense, we reject as false the choice between our safety and our ideals. Our Founding Fathers, faced with perils we can scarcely imagine, drafted a charter to assure the rule of law and the rights of man, a charter expanded by the blood of generations. Those ideals still light the world, and we will not give them up for expedience's sake. And so to all other peoples and governments who are watching today, from the grandest capitals to the small village where my father was born: know that America is a friend of each nation and every man, woman, and child who seeks a future of peace and dignity, and that we are ready to lead once more.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

We are the keepers of this legacy. Guided by these principles once more, we can meet those new threats that demand even greater effort - even greater cooperation and understanding between nations. We will begin to responsibly leave Iraq to its people, and forge a hard-earned peace in Afghanistan. With old friends and former foes, we will work tirelessly to lessen the nuclear threat, and roll back the specter of a warming planet. We will not apologize for our way of life, nor will we waver in its defense, and for those who seek to advance their aims by inducing terror and slaughtering innocents, we say to you now that our spirit is stronger and cannot be broken; you cannot outlast us, and we will defeat you.

For we know that our patchwork heritage is a strength, not a weakness. We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus - and non-believers. We are shaped by every language and culture, drawn from every end of this Earth; and because we have tasted the bitter swill of civil war and segregation, and emerged from that dark chapter stronger and more united, we cannot help but believe that the old hatreds shall someday pass; that the lines of tribe shall soon dissolve; that as the world grows smaller, our common humanity shall reveal itself; and that America must play its role in ushering in a new era of peace.

To the Muslim world, we seek a new way forward, based on mutual interest and mutual respect. To those leaders around the globe who seek to sow conflict, or blame their society's ills on the West - know that your people will judge you on what you can build, not what you destroy. To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history; but that we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist.

To the people of poor nations, we pledge to work alongside you to make your farms flourish and let clean waters flow; to nourish starved bodies and feed hungry minds. And to those nations like ours that enjoy relative plenty, we say we can no longer afford indifference to suffering outside our borders; nor can we consume the world's resources without regard to effect. For the world has changed, and we must change with it.

As we consider the road that unfolds before us, we remember with humble gratitude those brave Americans who, at this very hour, patrol far-off deserts and distant mountains. They have something to tell us today, just as the fallen heroes who lie in Arlington whisper through the ages. We honor them not only because they are guardians of our liberty, but because they embody the spirit of service; a willingness to find meaning in something greater than themselves. And yet, at this moment - a moment that will define a generation - it is precisely this spirit that must inhabit us all.

For as much as government can do and must do, it is ultimately the faith and determination of the American people upon which this nation relies. It is the kindness to take in a stranger when the levees break, the selflessness of workers who would rather cut their hours than see a friend lose their job which sees us through our darkest hours. It is the firefighter's courage to storm a stairway filled with smoke, but also a parent's willingness to nurture a child, that finally decides our fate.

Our challenges may be new. The instruments with which we meet them may be new. But those values upon which our success depends - hard work and honesty, courage and fair play, tolerance and curiosity, loyalty and patriotism - these things are old. These things are true. They have been the quiet force of progress throughout our history. What is demanded then is a return to these truths. What is required of us now is a new era of responsibility - a recognition, on the part of every American, that we have duties to ourselves, our nation, and the world, duties that we do not grudgingly accept but rather seize gladly, firm in the knowledge that there is nothing so satisfying to the spirit, so defining of our character, than giving our all to a difficult task.

This is the price and the promise of citizenship.

This is the source of our confidence - the knowledge that God calls on us to shape an uncertain destiny.

This is the meaning of our liberty and our creed - why men and women and children of every race and every faith can join in celebration across this magnificent mall, and why a man whose father less than sixty years ago might not have been served at a local restaurant can now stand before you to take a most sacred oath.

So let us mark this day with remembrance, of who we are and how far we have traveled. In the year of America's birth, in the coldest of months, a small band of patriots huddled by dying campfires on the shores of an icy river. The capital was abandoned. The enemy was advancing. The snow was stained with blood. At a moment when the outcome of our revolution was most in doubt, the father of our nation ordered these words be read to the people:

"Let it be told to the future world...that in the depth of winter, when nothing but hope and virtue could survive...that the city and the country, alarmed at one common danger, came forth to meet [it]."

Has your computer been acting strange lately? Has it been running slow, or telling you that your computer needs a certain program? If so it may have a virus. This article deals with ones called Boot Sector Viruses. These reside in the sectors that are used to start your Operating System. Some of the viruses that reside here also store themselves in your BIOS so they are booted even if you have just done a clean install.

Steps

Remove any important files and shut down the infected computer. You can not begin to remove the virus if it is in the RAM in your computer.
Download a new BIOS flash utility (must be DOS version) and copy it to the bootable floppy you are about to make. These are found at your motherboard manufacturer's website, or at your computer manufacturer's website if you have a laptop.
Create a bootable floppy from an uninfected computer. Then write-protect the floppy.
Remove the HDD (hard disk drive or hard drive) from the infected computer. Be sure to remove all of the static electricity from your self by touching the metal case.
Start up the infected computer with the bootable floppy in the floppy drive.
When the BIOS setup page shows, Push the corresponding key to change the Boot Order.
Set the Floppy drive to boot first.
Flash your BIOS with the utility provided by the manufacturer. DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER UNTIL THE UTILITY TELLS YOU THAT YOU CAN. DOING SO BEFORE IT IS FINISHED MAY PERMANENTLY DAMAGE YOUR COMPUTER.
Find out which company manufactures your HDD and see if they have a utility that will do a Low-Level format. This part is important because it deletes everything from your hard drive so that no one can get it back, including the virus. Some common HDD manufacturers' tools for doing this can be found here.
Run the formatting utility provided by your HDD manufacturer.
Reinstall your Operating System of choice however you want to.

Tips

To make the bootable floppy in Microsoft Windows, go to My Computer, right click on your floppy drive (usually A:\ or B:\), click "Format...", then find the box that says "Create a MS-DOS startup disk". Then copy the flashing utility, and the low level format utility.
If you feel uncomfortable completing any of the steps, take your computer in to a specialist.

Warnings

Be sure to write protect the floppy and remove the HDD before you flash the BIOS, because any virus that is residing in the boot sector of your HDD may copy its self over top of the BIOS you just flashed.
A Low-Level format will erase anything and everything on your HDD. It does this because it erases the whole disk, and not just the File Allocation Table (FAT) which is the directory for the hard drive. Its kind of like a telephone directory. When you delete things or do a format in Windows or DOS, known as a High-Level format, it tells the FAT that there is nothing there anymore, but leaves the data on the disk. A Low-Level format or delete tells the FAT that there is nothing there and then rewrites the sectors on the HDD where the file was. Because of this there is no possible way to get your data back after this process is complete.
If you reboot your computer before the flash utility is finished with your BIOS, it will corrupt the BIOS and render the computer inoperable. You will need to get a new motherboard if this happens.

Windows Vista sucks? Or simply don't like Vista? If you're thinking to downgrade your Vista system to run on Windows XP, it's not as easy as you think. There is no direct path to downgrade Vista to XP. You can't simply insert the XP installation CD media into the CD-ROM drive and hope to 'upgrade' and replace the Vista with Windows XP usual install routine because Vista won't allow it to be overwritten. XP will treat Vista as 'superior' operating system and refuse to install over it.

There're actually few options available instead of completely uninstall Vista as listed below. But if you decide to downgrade from Vista to install XP, there is also a simple guideline that you can observe to ensure that the migration goes smoothly.

Option 1 - Dual Boot

It's by far the easier and best method to run XP instead of Vista if you have another partition or hard disk. Simply boot up any XP setup media and install XP into different partition or hard drive than the Vista installation. Once completed, you can choose to boot up either XP or Vista, and has the best of both world.

Option 2 - Virtual Machine

Install VMware Server or Virtual PC 2007 (both free) or any other virtualization software, and then install Windows XP into the virtual machine environment. You will get XP which runs inside Vista, with minor compromise on speed, performance and have to go through Vista first on every bootup.

Option 3 - Format the Hard Drive, Wipe Off Vista and Install XP

For those who totally fed up with Vista and just want XP, or prefer a clean installation of OS has only this option to rely on. To downgrade to XP from Vista, you have to basically delete the whole hard disk that installed with Vista, and start anew with XP. Here's a simple guide and procedures that you can try to follow to switch to XP. However, each system configuration is different, so you may have to adapt the steps to suit your own need.

1. Download all drivers for your system for Error! Hyperlink reference not valid.from the manufacturer's website. Copy the drivers files to a USB flash driver or external hard drive or burn them to CD/DVD.

2. Find a Windows XP installation CD (should be pretty easy to find or else you can search in torrent sites such as Demonoid to download via BT network such as uTorrent and BitComet or search and download via ED2K network client such as eMule. You can also use Volume Licensing (VL) CD, retail (FPP) disc, or system builder hologram CD provided by Microsoft.

3. You will also need a XP product key even if you legally can downgrade from Vista Ultimate or Business edition. The Vista serial number won't works with XP. (try to search for XP product key on web).

4. Backup to USB flash disk, external portable hard disk or CD/DVD every data files and any other things such as documents, downloads, pictures, movies, programs and etc that you need and want to keep. You can also create a second partition with disk management utilities such as Acronis Director or Partition Magic, and then move the data files to the new partition.

5. Ensure that also you have CD or DVD setup media for the software applications that you want to install and use after wiping off your system from Vista.

6. If your OEM doesn't provide you with recovery CD/DVD discs and Windows setup media discs (it's because they're stored in the hard disk in hidden location), you may want to burn a copy of recovery Error! Hyperlink reference not valid. to CD/DVD first before you proceed, just in case the hidden partition is lost and you want to recover your computer to original state. (How-to Guide: IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad recovery CD)

7. If the system has SATA (Serial ATA) hard drive, locate the driver for SATA controller and put it in USB flash drive, diskette or CD first. If you have PATA (normal IDE) hard disk, simply go to Error! Hyperlink reference not valid. CMOS to disable SATA or Native SATA mode if you don't want to install XP on SATA hard drive. Else, you can also create an XP install disc with the SATA drivers integrated by using tool such as nLite.

8. In the BIOS, also set the CD or DVD optical drive as the first boot device in the boot sequence.

9. Put in the Windows XP installation CD into CDROM drive and boot up the computer by using the CD. You probably need to press a key when prompted with "Press Any Key to Boot from CD…".

10. If you're using SATA hard disk with driver on external media (not integrated into XP setup disk), remember to press F6 when you see the message at the status base: "Press F6 if you need to install a third party SCSI or RAID driver…" during the very initial stage of setup to load the SATA driver so that the SATA hard disk can be recognized.

11. Run through the setup wizard at per normal. However, when prompting for where to install Error! Hyperlink reference not valid., delete (by pressing D and then confirmation), create and format the Vista disk drive or partition (if you have multiple partition). And then choose to install on that just formatted partition or hard drive.

IMPORTANT: If you choose the wrong hard disk or partition with data to delete, you will lose your essential data.

Note: If the setup does not allow you to delete or format the Vista partition or drive, you will need to find a third party software that can recognize and read NTFS filesystem to clear the drive or partition first.

12. Enter any product key for XP. Vista product key will not work.

13. If you own a legitimate Windows Vista edition that allows for downgrade (See Vista downgrade rights), call Microsoft after performing the clean install of Windows XP Pro to activate the XP installation. Notify Microsoft that you're downgrading from Vista and require to activate XP Professional or other version allowed newly installed. You won't get a new Error! You will have to read out the long Installation ID plus your original Vista serial key, and Microsoft will provide an activation ID that will make the XP usable.

14. Install the drivers for your system devices.

15. Reinstall any software programs that you want to use.

16. Move back the data files and documents.

Today is 777, means 07-07-2007, a precious day of our generation. There will be more 5 years to to see such days till 2012........ and then we, our 10th of generations, will never see them for 994 years ..... ,,,,,,,,,,, take a moment to look forward, and you'll find how precious we are and the time we are living............. who knows what happens the next......??????

Most of our generation are entangled within the fightings either in the name of religion, race, money or power. It is our BAD LUCK that we know everything but still ignore them. We stupid, never knew how precious days we are living...................!!!!!

The rumor I heard was 3-4 days before. But, I could not believe as there was no any strong evidence of it. But, the news published in The Peninsula has made to believe it. I feel very sad for the incident. I was expecting news about it in Rajdhani Weekly published yesterday. But I could not find anything in Rajdhani. I am surprised and feel sad as well, how could Nepalese reporters avoid to investigate on such news as victim has been rumored to be a Nepali national?

Report published in The Peninsula dated 22 June, 2007 is as follows:

Title: It's true! Four Asians land in jail for cannibalism

DOHA- Four Asians have been rounded up and produced in a criminal court on charges of cannibalism. They are accused of killing a colleague, also an Asian, and devouring his body, reports Al Sharq.

Rumors had been circulating in the city about a crime where a human flesh had been cooked and eaten. This has been now confirmed.

This is the first such incident of its kind reported not just in Qatar but in the region, the daily said. It pointed out the quartet chose to eat the body of the deceased to hide the fact they had murdered him.

The incident came to light when one of the four accused suffered from severe reactions after eating human flesh and was subsequently rushed to the Emergency Department of Hamad medical Corporation (HMC).

Doctors attending to him sent him in for an X-ray. the result clearly showed the outline of a human finger in his stomach sending the doctors into a tizzy. They immediately gathered their wits about them and call in the police.

The hospitalized man was taken into custody and confessed to having eaten the flesh of a colleague along with his three cronies. His three accomplices were soon arrested and they admitted to having committed the crime.

The foursome was produced in a criminal court with the prosecution demanding that they be remanded to police custody for further interrogation. The court immediately acceded to the prosecution's demand.

Legal circles said they presume the accused may be extensively interrogated to find if they had been involved in a similar crime here before.

Meanwhile, a report published recently by an Indian language daily published here identified the four accused as Vietnamese nationals and said their alleged victim was from NEPAL. The daily, however, clarified the nationalities were based on rumors.
